never ending fall

Not only can Never Ending Fall Kirkland, but they can rock too.

To be honest, when I first found out about this band, I didn’t know they were a band at all. One night, doom scrolling on TikTok as one does, the "Can It Kirkland" melody popped up on my "For You" page. I watched this group of friends compare Costco and name-brand alcohols in a very comical, hanging-out-with-your-best-friends way. (Click here to see what I mean). About a month after they had been sprinkled onto my FYP, I came across them promoting their tour from last year. I thought, hmm, let’s see what kind of music they make.

I was not disappointed. One of my favorite things about this band is that they have a sound you don’t hear often. While I’d say they lean on the alt-rock-heavy side of things, they can add different genres into their music, still making it extremely cohesive for their sound.

All this being said, nothing could have prepared me for seeing and hearing this band live. Not only did they immediately change the atmosphere in the room when they walked on stage with their high energy, but from the first note of the first song, they had the crowd ready to move.

They kept a streamlined set of one song after another while also maintaining an extremely impressive amount of energy. They were playing like it was their first show ever. I watched as every person (yes, every person) in the room was moving, whether it was dancing, subtly swaying, or head-bopping. Not only did they have fantastic chemistry with the crowd, but watching them interact with each other, you could tell there was so much passion and joy for what they were doing.

It felt like you were at a house show, watching friends just having a good time. This makes sense considering this group formed in the 4th grade and has been rocking out ever since. The environment was lively, and a lot of that is due to Never Ending Fall being the band that they are. If you have the chance, I cannot recommend enough seeing them on tour with Sawyer Hill right now. You’re going to want to be that person who can say, “Yeah, I saw them in ____ venue before they were playing arenas.” I truly have a feeling this band is going to go above and beyond with the passion they express on stage and in their music.
