From Indian Lakes made their return to Portland after 5 years, drawing a large crowd at the Holocene eager to see the beloved California band. They are currently touring in support of their new album ‘Head Void’, the band played through the album alongside beloved classics like ‘Sunlight’, ‘Blank Tapes’, and ‘Label This Love’.

If you've been listening to this band since their debut album ‘The Man With Wooden Legs’ you’ll note their new album ‘Head Void’ really felt like a cohesive blend of their work over the years. The setlist for the night flowed together between new and old songs weaving into an experience for the crowd. Many fans, myself included, were fully immersed in the performance and left feeling as if they had reunited with a long-lost friend.

While their next two shows are at festivals, I highly recommend giving their new album a listen and waiting for an opportunity to see them live. As someone who eagerly awaited their return after 5 years, I can confidently say it's well worth it.
